- 5 years of experience in Strategy/Operations.
- Experience in project management and execution.

Preferred qualifications:

- Experience working with large datasets (e.g., Sheets, SQL database queries/analysis).
- Experience using business intelligence and dashboards (e.g., Connect Sales, Data Studio).
- Knowledge of digital ads and Google’s business.
- Ability to succeed and exercise judgment in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment, and work with people from a broad range of backgrounds/experiences.
- Excellent communicator with great presentation skills, with the ability to write well and convey complex issues clearly.
- Excellent collaborator with ideas, determination, and a passion for the Internet.

**About the job**:
The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.

As part of the South East Asia (SEA) Operational Excellence Hub, you will support strategic project across Malaysia and South Asia while also seeking to embed operational excellence in a scalable manner.

In this role, you will work with cross-functional leads and with partners across the sales organization (e.g., Account Managers, Country Managers) to address key strategic and operational challenges. You will provide business critical insights and recommendations, bringing stakeholders together while ensuring excellence in project management to ensure we stay focused delivering efficient impact.

You will also own cross-functional, go-to-market projects, focused on ensuring that we define and deliver operational best practice across the SEA sub-region.

The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.

**Responsibilities**:

- Respond to problem statements raised by the local leadership team via hypothesis generation, problem-solving, and insight generation across competitive/landscape/performance assessments.
- Work closely with Country Leadership to identify key quarterly strategic and operational priorities.
- Define key success metrics and execution plans, review organizational efficiencies, and develop organizational design proposals to achieve service model excellence.
- Work within the Operational Center of Excellence team to identify scalable ways to improve operational excellence and drive these within their markets of focus.
