- Ability to grow and exercise judgment in a fast-moving and ambiguous environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to write and convey complex issues clearly.

**About the job**:
As a part of the Country Go-To-Market (GTM) team, this role combines both working on key projects to build operational excellence, and lead core Country GTM support to the South Asian Frontier team.
As a Strategy and Operations Lead, you will act as a key business partner to the South Asian Frontiers Country Manager. You will provide business critical insights and recommendations, ensure cross-functional alignment across business plans and execution goals, and help teams drive initiatives forward. You will stay focused on aligning the company priorities with strong day-to-day operations and execution, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth scalable initiatives. You will set the vision, pace, and direction of our sales business and unite teams to deliver on Google’s most important business opportunities by advocating, challenging, and enabling our Pakistan sales organization.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with regional and global counterparts to ensure smooth flow of Google operations from global to local, and solve key operational inefficiencies through scaled solutions driving sales efficiency. You are passionate about both operational improvement and using data to unearth insights. You will help create an operational center of excellence, scaling best practice across markets, setting the standard for operations excellence and efficiency in a customer and sales-centric way. You are passionate about both business strategy and operations, have good problem solving skills, seek to drive process improvements, consistency, and can harness the power of data to drive insights.
The Go-to-Market Operations (GtM) team ensures Google's complex and ever-evolving Ads business runs smoothly. We are instrumental in setting go-to-market strategy, and ensuring flawless execution and operations against the strategy. We have teams embedded in each of the major Ads business areas as well as global teams that work across the business areas. Team members are analytical and strategic, with a pragmatic sense of how to get things done.
**Responsibilities**:
- Partner with the Sales Leaders of our Pakistan Sales team to shape the overall strategic direction of the advertising business such as country business and consumer trends, business reviews, and overall prioritization of opportunities.
- Design operational excellence and business generation initiatives, including metrics to understand and improve business performance (productivity) and programs to capture business growth ideas.
- Respond to problem statements raised by local leadership team via hypothesis generation, analyze information, formulating and testing hypotheses, and communicating recommendations.
- Ensure seamless business rhythm with Product and Operations expertise review and insights, feeding into our revenue calls, calibration inputs, and All Hands.
- Develop working level relationships across GTM and with cross-functional teams (e.g., Diversity and Inclusion, gTech, Sales Finance, etc.).
