**About the role**
Unimarine Pte. Ltd. is seeking a driven and experienced Marine Lubricants Sales Executive to join our team and play a key role in driving new business development across South East Asia. As part of our sales function, you will be responsible for expanding our client base and building long-term partnerships within the marine industry. This full-time position is based in our Raffles Place office in the Central Region.
**What you'll be doing**
- **Prospect and Develop New Customers**:Identify and develop new customer accounts within the assigned markets.
- **Sales Techniques**:Utilize cold calling, customer mapping, territory planning, and opportunity qualification to drive sales.
- **Value Selling**:Upsell and propose improvements to current lubricant lifting practices for fleets.
- **Customer Engagement**:Conduct regular customer visits to understand their needs and ensure retention.
- **Sales Growth**:Achieve volume targets set by the management team and manage customer debt in collaboration with the finance department.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with operations and supply teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries across various territories and time zones.
- **Focus on ROI**:Optimize time and energy to provide value to both customers and shareholders.
- **Performance Monitoring**:Track and monitor sales performance and figures daily.
- **Effective Communication**:Leverage strong communication skills to work with diverse groups of people across different cultures and backgrounds.
**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience in a similar sales role within the marine or industrial lubricants industry
- Strong value selling and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
- Fluency in English and at least one other regional language is an advantage
- A driven, self-motivated mindset with a proven track record of achieving sales targets
