**What You Will Do**
We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented **Assistant Manager/ Manager, HR Business Partner **to join our dynamic HR team. Reporting to the HR Director, Ship Management Asia, the incumbent will partner with the business units to develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives for their line of business.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage day-to-day HR operations, including but not limited to onboarding, performance management, work pass administration, compliance with employment laws and regulations, and other related activities. Partner with business units to understand their objectives and challenges, and develop HR strategies and initiatives to support their goals.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on talent management, organizational development, employee engagement, and other HR-related areas.
- Lead the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Conduct regular assessments of HR processes and practices to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide coaching and support to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
- Monitor HR metrics and analyse data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
**What We Are Looking For**
- Bachelor's Degree in Human resources management or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in HR roles, with at least 4 years of experience in a business partnering or HRBP role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team player that can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders across a large and global organisation.
- Personable and approachable individual that enjoys building relationships internally and externally.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
