As **Senior Process Improvement Supervisor **, you need to lead and be responsible for operational excellence initiatives including cost down project and portfolio management, productivity improvement, lean sigma training and deployment, site strategy deployment and site metrics monitoring, promote a culture of continuous improvement, and any other transformative initiatives.

**A DAY IN THE LIFE**:
Responsibility:

- Lead and govern site Operational Excellence initiatives relating to competency and training development and the deployment of lean sigma methodologies, tools and templates
- Actively engage in global Operational Excellence communities, align on Operational Excellence strategy, and collaborate closely with other sites on best practices of operational excellence and continuous improvement opportunities
- Develop an Operational Excellence roadmap in alignment with the global Operational Excellence strategy
- Responsible for aligning, and not limited to Operational Excellence, site methodologies, tools and templates to the global system wherever relevant
- Site interface to the global Operational Excellence community
- Actively promote Medtronic Mindset and a culture of methodological problem solving and continuous improvement
- Lead the deployment of site strategies and Medtronic Performance System including the development and monitoring of site metrics performance
- Lead initiatives to improve line layout, manufacturing productivity and efficiency, and to optimize manufacturing cells.
- Lead value stream mapping activities and identify opportunities for improvement
- Responsible for developing a cost down roadmap including but not limited to organizing cost down brain-storming session, managing the cost down portfolio, and ensuring that the report out is accurate and timely
- Lead continuous improvement or transformative initiatives to remove wastes, take out complexities and simplifies our operation.
- Develop and cultivate problem solving mindset, and organize/conduct problem solving methodology training such as DMAIC, Green Belt, Kaizen, Lean etc
- Mentor and coach for Operational Excellence methodologies, tools and templates.
- Complies with and help to enforce company policies and procedures.
- Works and implements projects on ad-hoc basis as required by business and operations needs and to work on assignment as tasked by direct manager.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree holder in a relevant discipline
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Lean concepts, methodologies and tools
- Black Belt certified will be an added advantage
- Experience in managing global projects and global teams
- Proven experience in managing stakeholders’ relationship and expectation
- Process improvement skill, ability to analyze and validate data, and being results oriented are key to success
- Experience in healthcare or medical products will be an added advantage
- Experience with high volume manufacturing will be an added advantage
