- Lead process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for enhancement and developing strategic plans to achieve objectives.
- Coordinate new grade trial runs with R&D and operations teams, overseeing the trial run and evaluation process.
- Troubleshoot process-related issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective measures to prevent future occurrences.
- Participate in HAZOP, FMEA, and control plan studies to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee capital expenditures projects from conceptual design to front-end engineering design (FEED), leading projects assigned by management.
- Develop and implement Industry 4.0 technologies as part of productivity improvement projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 3+ years of experience in petrochemical industries (preferably senior position).
- Familiarity with process simulation software, such as Aspen Plus or Aspen HYSYS, is an asset.
- Knowledge of distributed control systems (DCS) and sequence modification is beneficial.
- Able to multitask and handle diverse responsibilities efficiently.
