Job Title: Process Improvement Technician

At our company, we're looking for a talented Process Improvement Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in enhancing machine and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Engineers to optimize machine and process performance.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot machine and process issues and customer complaints.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve yield and quality.
  • Provide timely support in failure analysis and CAPA resolution.
  • Support the achievement of department goals and objectives.
  • Participate in and lead initiatives to drive productivity improvement and OEE enhancement.
  • Offer technical expertise to employee teams and facilitate the implementation of employee suggestions (Kaizen).
  • Enhance machine performance through process modification, simplification, and improvement.
  • Provide technical support to production.
  • Minimize unplanned production downtime by resolving machine issues and breakdowns promptly.
  • Manage and implement an effective Preventive Maintenance program.
  • Spare parts management and new machine/product start-up.
  • Assist in executing IQ, OQ & PQ validation.
  • Compile and prepare training materials, and conduct training on machine operations for technicians and operators.
  • Evaluate alternative methods or technologies.
  • Engage with engineers, supervisors, and suppliers.
  • Exchange technical information and provide input on issue resolution.
  • Evaluate purchase parts and request quotations.
  • Ensure compliance with EHS procedures and requirements.
Qualifications:
  • NITEC (NTC/ ITC) Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of experience or 2 years of experience with a Diploma.
  • Subject Matter Expertise on key processes and equipment/machinery.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good understanding/knowledge in basic design of jigs and fixtures.
  • Good understanding of mechanical/electrical drawings and control systems (PLC).
  • A team player with good attitude and teamwork.
