As a Fortinet Regional Channel System Engineer, you will be responsible to drive channel Technical and skill competency development initiatives and content to ensure our partner eco-system understand, sell and support Fortinet solution. You are also responsible to drive specialization within the regional Tier 1 partners.

**Responsibilities**:

- Engagement with regional Tier 1 partners technical stakeholders to help drive demand and pipelines generation.
- Highly skilled individual and present to partners/customers as our expert in Fortinet’s Security Fabric solution at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO.
- Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the security landscape that every partners needs to be aware of, develop contents and competitive information to help them sell our solution into their installed customer base.
- Interact locally and remotely with partners in an equally persuasive manner.
- Field and deals focused, partners’ engagement for strategic or large opportunities. Formulate technical win strategies, assist partner in RFP/RFI and partner led POC.
- Led and drive channel enablement program and activities (e.g Fast Track, etc) across the region.
- Work closely with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D team, while sharing feedback from the field and promoting new technical requirements (RFEs).
- Internal escalation to CSE, product management, engineering for feature request.
- Provide design consultation and best practice guidance for the rollout, implementation, and policy conversion during the 'pre-sales' process for strategic opportunities. The regional Channel SE will take ownership to provide guidance to the partners for advanced 'proof of concept' testing in strategic accounts.
- Lead the assigned solution virtual SE communities and responsible in knowledge transfer and technical enablement. Involving in technical mentoring on solution, product, feature and functionalities.
- Build technical materials, partner SE tool kit to expedite deal closure and drive incremental pipelines.
- Identified and work with strategic technical alliances to strengthen solution offering based on market demand.

**Requirements**:

- 7 - 10 years’ experience in technical/pre-sales support as systems engineer.
- Preferably with achievement on CCNP, CISSP, FCNSP NSE, AWS CSA or MCSE.
- Strong understanding of DNS and NFS, SMTP, HTTP, TCP/IP.
- Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, Network Security, Intrusion Detection, Anti-Virus, Advance Threat Prevention, and Mail security.
- Strong understanding in the following technologies and protocols: RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, L2TP, IPSEC, FIREWALL, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, SHA1, DES, 3DES.
- Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required.
- Strong presentation skills.
- Experience in both private and private Cloud technologies and demonstrable experience in securing these environments.
- Good understanding of Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems and scripting.
- Experience selling, demonstrating, installing and troubleshooting network infrastructure security product.
- Willing to travel across the region frequently.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills, both internally and externally.
- Strong problem finding and solving skills, ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution, even under duress.
- "Can do" attitude and motivation with strong consultative selling skills and experience.
