How do we work?
In this role, you will:
Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 4-5 sales professionals focused on acquiring and managing partners for OANDA Prop Trader..
- Conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to foster a high-performing and motivated team environment.
- Identify individual and team development needs and implement strategies to enhance skills and knowledge.
Sales Strategy & Execution:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets in the UAE market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to expand the OANDA Prop Trader network.
- Track and analyze key sales metrics, such as conversion rates, pipeline growth, and customer acquisition cost.
- Collaborate with sales management to develop and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives.
Partner Management:
- Leverage your existing network and proactively identify and build relationships in the UAE, including potential partners, industry influencers, and community leaders.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, onboarding processes, and marketing collaborations to maximize mutual benefits.
- Provide ongoing support and guidance to partners, ensuring their success and satisfaction with the OANDA Prop Trader program.
Market Analysis & Insights:
- Conduct thorough market research to understand the competitive landscape, identify emerging trends, and analyze customer needs in the UAE.
- Stay informed about industry best practices and adapt strategies accordingly.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, such as marketing and product development, to drive business growth and ensure alignment with overall company objectives.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
What skillset you need, to be successful in this role:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in sales and business development, with at least 2 years in a team leadership role.
- Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the UAE market, including cultural nuances, business practices, and the online trading landscape.
- Partner Network: Possess an existing network of potential partners and experience prospecting/ managing partners in the UAE that can be leveraged to drive business growth for OANDA Prop Trader.
- Strong Leadership & Management Skills: Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing sales teams.
- Excellent Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders.
- Analytical & Data-Driven: Proficiency in analyzing data, extracting insights, and using data to inform strategic decisions.
- Results-Oriented: A self-starter with a strong work ethic and a proven ability to achieve targets.
- Industry knowledge: Familiarity with the prop trading industry, alternatively CFD industry.
- Experience working with CRM systems and sales automation tools.
- Arabic language proficiency.
