The APAC Real Estate team is looking for a highly motivated, team player with strong corporate and non-recourse structured finance skills to support the growing Real Estate financing activity across Corporates, public and private real estate funds and financial sponsor clients.

Job Responsibilities include:

- Support senior members of the team in deal origination, structuring and execution of corporate and non-recourse structured commercial real estate financing transactions in the region including financial modelling, credit submission, documentation and portfolio monitoring.
- Contribute to real estate market updates/insights, and assist in driving sector strategy within the bank.
- Support coverage and product teams in engaging with senior members of the clients to position MUFG as a lead bank in the sector.
- Work closely with our global partners to facilitate information sharing and idea generation. Ensure that we effectively leverage on our global network to deliver the best solutions and practices to our clients

Job Requirements:

- Undergraduate/Master degree from leading universities
- Professional qualifications are advantageous e.g. ACA, CFA, MBA
- Proven track record of 3-7 years’ experience as a member of the marketing and deal teams at leading global Banks, with a focus on corporate, acquisition and structured finance, deal execution, real estate sector knowledge and cross-products solutions
- Deal experience in the real estate sector in the Asia Pacific region particularly in Singapore, Australia and Hong Kong

Functional/Technical Skills and Knowledge:

- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong credit knowledge, financial analysis and modelling skills, and attention to details.
- General understanding of various banking functions and products
- Strong partnership and collaborative skills. Ability to work together across internal departments (i.e. debt capital markets, credit division, etc.) and various branches/ HQ both regionally and globally to execute local or cross border transactions
- A strong team player that is able to work in a large organization and fast-paced environment; takes initiatives and is a creative thinker and a proactive idea generator
