DESIGNATION : Programme Manager (MI), Lee Kong Chian School of Business

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage programmes from pre matriculation to student becoming an alumni
- Point-of-Contact for Students, Instructors & Academic Director
- Pre-Matriculation Communication and Orientation: Serve as the primary point-of-contact for incoming students
- Plan with Programme Manager and execute Orientation in collaboration with internal SMU offices
- Gather pre-term administrative information from incoming students for logistics planning
- Prepare all pre-matriculation documents for communication to incoming students
- Plan and design orientation programme, including operational and logístical arrangements
- Coordinate with Registrar Office on online matriculation and ID verification
- Coordinate with relevant offices to arrange for presentation sessions, campus tours, etc. for Orientation
- Sources and secure items for the welcome pack
- Source for vendors who can provide the appropriate team building and leadership development programme suitable for students
- Execute all orientation activities, consolidate feedback from students via an online platform, and evaluate external vendors
- Academic Calendar Planning/Teaching Load Management System (TLMS):

- Obtain instructions from the Programme Manager in developing the yearly academic calendar, and the submission of information into TLMS
- Academic - International (outbound): Support Programme Manager
- Obtain flight, accommodation, and emergency contact details from students
- Conduct research on student visa options and prepare student communication on visa instructions
- Work with an external vendor to secure accommodation, transportation, dining venues, provision of information packs, etc
- Academic - International (inbound): Support Programme Manager in the operational and logístical arrangements
- Secure facilities and catering resources, negotiates with hotels on corporate/group rates for students
- Provide efficient and effective administrative and logístical support to the students during the period they are on campus

- Tabulation of SM Suite exam results for termly review
- Blended Courses Development and Delivery
- Work closely with the blended development team to understand the various stages of the development work
- Work closely with the blended designers, IITS and instructors on the enrolment and grouping of students for blended courses
- Update the details of live sessions on Insendi platform
- Events - Graduation: Support the Programme Manager in the development, planning, and execution of Graduation events.
- Prepare all pre-graduation documents for communication to graduating students
- Gather pre-graduation information from graduating students for logistics planning
- Work with students on the allocation of seats for family
- Collaborate with the Commencement committee to provide support and perform allocated roles and responsibilities on days of Commencement
- Events - Management Programmes
- Support Programme Manager in the administrative, operational, and logistics arrangement of events as and when required, e.g., Conferences/Workshops/Competitions/ Graduation Dinner/ Networking Events/Award Ceremony
- Financial Matters:

- Serve as point of contact to students for all tuition fee billing inquiries
- Administer student billing, sponsorship, and scholarship and collaborates with SMU Finance to ensure posting in the system is done on time and accurately
- Review the aging report, following up with reminders to students as needed
- Trouble-shoots issues with SMU finance
- Prepare budget submissions and track expenses for individual cost centers

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor degree with 5 years of related work experience or a Diploma with at least 8 years of related work experience
- Service-oriented
- Mature, independent, and able to work with faculty and students
- Excellent written and spoken communications
- Able to multi-task and organize student activities and programme schedule
- Able to travel overseas
