**The Role**
The Director of Marketing Communication is responsible and accountable for the organisation’s marketing ventures. He/she is required to be involved in developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and identify a marketing edge over the industry that will make a difference.

**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to create awareness of the company’s businesses.
- Manage marketing communications; campaigns; loyalty program; events and public relations of the company.
- Evaluate communication plans for brand guidelines and review reputation risk exposure.
- Lead reviews of website and social media data to increase e-commerce traffic and brand’s presence including conceptualisation of marketing campaigns across traditional, digital and social media platforms.
- Oversee the design and production of internal and external communication materials including but not limited to press release; blog post; brand magazines; e-newsletter; brochures; EDM; Displays; logos; reports; fact sheets; videos and visual contents.
- Lead, guide and develop the marketing team and work with respective departments.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree in Marketing & Mass Communication or equivalent from a recognised hospitality of tertiary institution.
- Minimum 5 to 7 years hands-on experience within the hospitality and accommodation industry.
- Excellent communication both verbal and in writing to effectively describe and present marketing initiatives.
- Time management and organisation skills is essential to be successful in this role.
- Must possess sound understanding of using, tracking and monitoring digital marketing optimisation tools; platforms; search engines and customer relationship systems.
- Must possess sound and updated understanding of prevailing marketing trends & demands.
