5+ years of experience in designing and delivering effective field enablement programs focused on Sales capability development
10+ years program management skills with an ability to develop and execute large-scale projects plans with mínimal supervision
5+ years of experiencing in sales/account management roles
An exceptional writer, editor, and communicator with executive presence
A demonstrated ability to synthesize complex concepts, formulate a clear point of view, and write concise and compelling narratives.
Strong project management skills and experience, including managing internal stakeholders and external agencies, and multiple global and local projects at once
Must be comfortable in fast-paced, changing and deadline-driven environment and able to manage priorities well.
Ability to exercise high judgment, particularly in narrow timeframes.
Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves and get work done, even when it’s outside the scope of the job.
An agile, flexible individual with a “can-do” approach to managing ambiguity and a highly iterative creative process
Job summary
APJ Commercial Field Enablement is looking for a Sales Proficiency Program Manager who is highly experienced in designing, building and deploying programs that support sales skills transformation and capability development, to support our goals of building a world class customer obsessed field organization.
Key job responsibilities
Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
- Collaborate with the Global and APJ Field Enablement, Learning & Development, HR, and Leadership team to design, develop and execute impactful programs focused on sales capability development and transformation of field sales organization.
- Collaborate with APJ Leadership, identify gaps and needs associated with building a customer obsessed Sales enablement strategy which includes:
- An agreed methodology that underpins our culture
- Regular cadence of feedback and reviews of initiatives with sales leaders
- Build and launch a sales development strategy that raises the bar on sales skills and capabilities at all stages of a seller’s lifecycle
- Drive communications and engagement strategy for program launches and updates, knowledge sharing and cross-team collaboration
- Seek to be bold, exploring external research and latest thinking in how the future of work will enhance our ability to accelerate the success of our Sellers.
- Creation of Strategic Change Management plans focused on driving program awareness and adoption and effectively measure impact and opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Drive effective voice of the customer mechanisms by collecting specific seller feedback
- Champion top issues through concise executive engagement to drive clear resolution and effective change management
- Keep seller experience in mind, ensuring programs and strategies are tailored to meet varied tenure, industry, and development requirements.
Experience building and maintaining partnerships with local and global teams
Experience meeting deadlines, prioritizing large workloads, maintaining a strong attention to detail, and working independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Experience with latest learning technology that improves the efficiency and effectiveness of field training delivery and absorption.
An Ability to travel ~ 25% time
