The Senior HR Specialist, Contingent Workforce will be in charge of hiring contractors and managing vendors globally, to address the talent needs of Ninja Van’s Engineering and Product teams. Your responsibilities encompass vendor sourcing, negotiations, contractor on/off-boarding and payment administration; ensuring the smooth operation of our programs while in compliance with company policies. This role reports to the Senior HR Business Partner, Technology, and will potentially grow into a Business Partner position to advise on global and contingent talent solutions.
**Roles and Responsibilities**:
- Lead end-to-end hiring of contingent employees and vendors services, from sourcing, to contract negotiations, onboarding and administration.
- Consult and collaborate with stakeholders to understand and collate business, talent, and project requirements.
- Identify and assess global vendors and agencies to partner with, and manage discussions on contract terms and deliverables.
Prepare and manage documents, contracts, statements of work and related contracting documents, collaborating with legal, finance and HR teams.
- Provide support to contractors, managers, and vendors to resolve administrative issues.
- Maintain a database of all contractors and vendors, for tracking and analysis.
- Improve contracting processes and systems, to improve ease of management and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Research, identify and introduce vendor and contractor management best practices
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, HR or related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in HR or contingent workforce management
- Vendor management, contract management or drafting experience
Experience working independently and require little instruction on day-to-day work
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English, Verbal and Written
- Competent with Excel/Google Sheets, familiar with basic functions such as Pivot Tables and Vlookup
