The Human Resources Business Partner for the CATT (Cloud, Apps, Tools & Test) team is a critical role that requires a strategic leader to partner with the VP of Engineering based in Korea to help maximize employee experience and efficiencies within the business unit. Partner with Engineering, the HRBP team and HR Centers of Excellence (compensation, benefits, talent acquisition, people analytics, HR operations, employee experience, learning and development) to formulate human capital strategies, coach managers and leaders, deliver against HR programs, manage employee relations matters, manage policies and drive talent management initiatives.
**What you'll be doing**:
- Support teams and leadership through all HR programs such as performance reviews, compensation and promotion planning and employee surveys.
- Build trusting relationships with leaders, managers, and employees.
- Act as a steward of Motional's culture and core values.
- Collaborate with the HRBP team to roll out cross-functional initiatives such as career pathing.
- Advise on work-related issues inclusive of performance management plans, compensation matters, talent development and leadership coaching.
- Act as a proactive advisor and sounding board for leadership.
- Partner with the business to understand attrition, improve engagement and ultimately retain top talent.
- Lead efforts around assessment of talent, potential and succession planning.
- Consult with leaders on policy, organizational design, compliance, and change management.
- Contribute to the full employee lifecycle, working with HR team members and centers of excellence to meet employee needs.
- Partner with the talent acquisition team on Internal offers, workforce planning, onboarding and offboarding
- Provide great customer service with day-to-day requests and questions.
- Contribute to employee communications (both through design and providing input)
**What we're looking for**:
- Bachelors' Degree in Human Resources Management, Labor Relations, Business, or related field; Advanced degree is a plus.
- 7+ years of HR Generalist experience including 3+ years of HRBP experience.
- Track record of progressive development through working experiences in various areas of human resources management (HR rotation program, a plus)
- Prior engineering and operations business partner experience is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience developing talent strategies to address business needs and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and leadership coaching skills.
- Ability to demonstrate business and financial acumen.
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Experience working within a global matrixed organization is a plus.
