**Key Focus**:
Reporting to the Sales Director - **Business Development Manager** is a sales role with an ambitious target to grow new and existing lines of business especially in the travel segment. This role demands a driven and responsible individual with strong commercial acumen and the ability to leverage stakeholder capabilities in a coordinated and highly collaborative way within Allianz Partners Singapore and external stakeholders.

The role will focus on building and winning new partnerships in the travel segment as well as other lines of business with senior stakeholders, handling technical conversations with the product and legal teams, and leading commercial partnership negotiations. The role will also work across the travel insurance, roadside assistance, motor warranty and adjacent products & developments in the broader AzP category to leverage and grow market share.

**What you do**:
Establish New Business Opportunities
- Drive a new business development strategy to secure sustainable new commercial relationships
- Lead all aspects of deal execution, from business case development to deal structuring and negotiating
- Develop and maintain strong relationships within key industry segments and potential partners
- Evaluate potential opportunities' strategic and economic impact, and prioritise efforts based on impact.

Account Management for Existing Business
- Strong account management for existing business with regular dialogue and to monitor the performance of the accounts.
- Ensure that documents are up to date and renewal quotations to be generated in a timely manner.
- Support the business partners to provide the best in class from sales to after sales services including attending to queries.

Market Intelligence
- Provides market business intelligence through focused sector engagement.
- Monitor and report on competitor behaviours as relevant to the market. This would include notifying the underwriting team of competitors' new product developments and pricing.

Stakeholder Relationships***
- Nurture stakeholder and business partnerships by identifying opportunities to improve business outcomes.
- Effectively engage and drive our Partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience on time and budget.
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, specifically Operations, Technical, Pricing, Finance and Market Management.

**What you'd bring**:
You will have a strong background in sales role within a large commercial environment working towards a set of KPIs and targets and good account management experience.

Other skills and experience will include:

- Industry experience and/ connections within Travel, Insurance or Financial Services sector
- Proven ability to meet and exceed KPIs and extensive sales/revenue targets within a business development role
- End-to-end development of client relationships from first contact to contract and ongoing management, including identifying and successfully onboarding additional revenue streams
- Have the ability to identify potential problems and provide suitable solutions proactively
- Excellent with prioritising and managing time,
- Ability to work towards strict deadlines and work under pressure
- Self motivated and accountable
