**JOB SCOPE**

**Summary of Job Responsibilities**

The Senior Manager of Casino and Marketing Compliance (“Compliance Senior Manager”) is the key liaison between Casino Operations, internal stakeholders and the relevant local regulatory bodies, e.g., Casino Regulatory Authority (“CRA”), Ministry of Social and Family Development (“MSF”), etc. in relation to all regulatory and compliance matters. He/she will also be responsible for ensuring operational compliance with all regulations and internal policies through the conduct of regular audits of operational processes and where applicable, compliance training. The Compliance Senior Manager should be familiar with operational processes, how they fit within the framework of the casino regulations and corporate policies and where applicable, make recommendations to improve and streamline compliance-related processes.

In addition, the Senior Manager is responsible to ensure all policies and procedures are implemented and well documented, performing internal reviews of casino operations policies and to introduce controls and measures, as appropriate to reduce compliance risk. The Senior Manager should also identify compliance problems when new risks materialize and develop a system of checks and balances to manage business processes more efficiently and proactively.

**Responsibilities**:

- Ensure operational compliance with the Casino Control Act, Internal Control Codes, Guiding Principles, all directions and notices issued by any regulatory authority to MBS, corporate policies and procedures and all Standard Operating Procedures (“SOP”).
- Monitor changes in regulations impacting Casino Operations and update SOPs accordingly.
- Manage communications between Casino Operations and all MBS departments (including but not limited to the Property Compliance department and Audit Services Group) and regulators (including but not limited to CRA/MSF) on all casino and marketing compliance related matters.
- Conduct reviews of Casino Operations’ SOPs to determine the impact and effectiveness of internal controls, ensure that operational processes are consistent with SOPs, and where applicable provide recommendations for enhancements or SOP changes.
- Work closely with the Casino Compliance and Marketing Compliance team to identify and recommend opportunity to increase efficiency and effectiveness of operations while maintaining adequate regulatory controls
- Work closely with the internal audit management in promptly communicating issues and concerns as they related to audit assignments and the general operation of the department.
- Set up monitoring programs to test for inconsistencies, policy violations, errors, missing approvals or other possible breakdowns in internal controls.
- Perform follow-up procedures to ensure agreed upon compliance actions plans are up-to-date and are implemented by stakeholders as directed by Management.
- Ensure and maintain strong communication and information flow throughout the Casino Operations, Casino Administration and Casino Technical Teams in relation to regulatory requirements as they pertain to Casino Operations.
- Investigate all breaches of SOP, GP, ICC or regulations, draft and document incident reports and / or notifications in relation to Casino Operations incidents and/or breaches.
- Manage and oversee the coordination of Casino Operations compliance initiatives and training with external vendors, other MBS departments, and the regulatory authorities.
- Participate in planning, coordination, and execution of departmental initiatives and projects under the direction of the Execution Director, Casino Compliance or above to develop a high-performing and efficient Casino Compliance team.
- Provide strategic and analytical support to the Executive Director, Casino Compliance in the development of a Casino Compliance roadmap as well as perform collaborative planning initiatives and assist in the planning and development of long-term casino compliance goals and strategic objectives for the casino operations.
- Develop an understanding of Casino Operations in Singapore and in the region.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Director, Casino Compliance or above.

**Job Requirements**
- Master’s/Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in any area of study.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in gaming or hospitality industry, in either strategic planning/analysis or leadership role with a reputable organization.
- Willing to relocate to any Sands property globally.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
