Roles & Responsibilities
1.Take ownership of customer accounts, manage and strengthen relationships with working level to executive level stakeholders
2.Develop deep understanding and relationships with key customers, identify business opportunities for growth, negotiate and close business deals
3.Maintain a robust and sustainable FMCG & e-commerce ecosystem of companies composed of product owners, solution & technology providers, manufacturers, system integrators, institute of higher learning, research institutes, and public agencies.
4.Strategize, develop, and execute business plans for multistakeholders and senior executives’ engagements in FMCG & ecommerce pillar
5.Lead conversations with customers to capture business and technical requirements, identify problem statements to scope project proposals based on industry needs
6.Work closely with our project management & technical divisions to enable the translation of research outcomes to commercially viable solutions for industry adoption
7.Coordinate with other A*STAR Research Institutes and public agencies to deliver commercially viable solutions to industries
Job Requirements
- Bachelor in any business/engineering-related discipline.
- At least 5 years of working experience in business development functions, technology, enterprise sales/account management and marketing.
- Experience in customer-facing roles leading development processes and technical discussions with senior executives from customers.
- Proven track record in sales and sales achievement, with experience in value-based selling, selling as a team, and selling services.
- Experience working in the FMCG, e-commerce, logistics, warehousing sector or managing supply chain operations would be an added bonus
- Strong business acumen, and is self-driven to deliver customer requirements and project deadlines
- A team player and technically motivated to solve problems, innovate and deliver to internal and external customers
