Job Summary:
As the Head of Software Applications, you will play a critical role in managing and overseeing the seamless operations. Your strategic leadership and technical expertise will be pivotal in ensuring the availability, security, and performance of our technology systems across various regions. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will lead the development and execution of IT operational strategies that align with the company's goals and support its continued success.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Strategic Leadership**:Develop and implement IT operations strategies that align with organizational objectives. Lead the creation of plans, budgets, and performance metrics that drive operational excellence.
- **Global IT Infrastructure Management**:Oversee the design, deployment, and management of our global IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, data centers, and cloud environments.
- **Operational Efficiency**:Continuously optimize IT processes and workflows to ensure operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability. Implement industry best practices and emerging technologies to enhance IT operations.
- **Incident Management**:Lead incident response and resolution efforts, ensuring timely and effective responses to IT incidents and service disruptions. Minimize downtime and impact on business operations.
- **Security and Compliance**:Implement and monitor robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard the organization's IT assets and data. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- **Vendor and Stakeholder Management**:Collaborate with vendors, partners, and internal stakeholders to manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure service level agreements are met.
- **Team Leadership**:Manage and mentor a diverse team of IT professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Encourage skill development and growth.
- **Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery**:Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans to ensure IT systems' resilience and availability in the face of disruptions.
- **Budget Oversight**:Manage IT operations budgets, monitor expenditures, and identify opportunities for cost optimization while ensuring service quality.
- **IT Governance and Compliance**:Ensure IT operations align with corporate governance and compliance standards, including risk management and regulatory requirements.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- **Experience with mission critical operations**:

- Strong technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, security, cloud computing, and emerging technologies.
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, budget management, and IT governance.
- Exceptional leadership skills, with a track record of managing diverse teams and fostering collaboration.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on achieving operational excellence.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Experience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is advantageous.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance and cybersecurity best practices.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
