Job Responsibilities:
Oversee the implementation, enhancement, and support of business-critical systems.

Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and business analysts to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions.

Collaborate with business stakeholders to define system requirements and translate them into technical specifications

Ensure system integrations, data consistency, and security across platforms

Maintain a hands-on role in programming, particularly in Python, and perform regular code reviews

Drive internal systems integration using APIs, message queues, or middleware to ensure real-time data exchange across platforms

Ensure technical documentation, best practices, and change management processes are adhered to

Monitor emerging technologies and propose strategic system improvements

Monitor the results and quality of the different software solutions and projects implemented in the organisation.

Oversee the development of Proof-of-Concept/ solutions and provide technical expertise on the development of software and

platform features, ensuring that appropriate security and risk factors are considered.

Establish testing standards and best practices.

Oversee all phases of testing (Unit Testing, Integration Testing, PT Testing, and User Acceptance).

Implement and maintain quality control systems.

Analyze test results and provide detailed reports to stakeholders on periodic basis.

Work closely with development team, Project Team and Upstream/Downstream teams, Business Teams.

**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

8+ years of relevant IT/software experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial or technical lead role

Strong technical expertise and software development best practices

Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, or API integrations

Experience working in retail, eCommerce, or supply chain industries

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate across business and technical teams
