JOB PURPOSE
The Key Account Manager establishes KYAN’s commercial presence with external stakeholders across our key accounts in Singapore. This role is responsible for development and execution of the commercial plan of KYAN’s clinical decision support platform and offering white glove experience to our customers. This position will also provide key insights from the field to internal stakeholders to guide business plans. This position is highly focused on external engagement, with approximately 80% time in the field.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Responsible for building, developing, and cultivating relationships with selected cancer centres
- Engage and develop a positive relationship with key influencers and decision-makers within the accounts, such as the Pathology Lab, Nurse, Front Desk Assistant, Procurement, Surgical Oncologist, and Medical Oncologist
- Work with our accounts and build processes to identify patients and drive demand per customer
- Responsible for overall customer service and account management
- Drive the process of ordering in current customers
- Work to ensure timely sample acquisition and delivery
- Work with our internal teams to drive customer service processes to ensure client satisfaction
- Capture and report field insights and patient flow from healthcare professionals to support the business plan
- Employ in-person tactics to execute against account plans, including regular account visits to promote sales efforts, manage contract strategy (where appropriate), and provide clinical, efficacy, and safety information on the product to key treatment decision-makers/executive teams within these high-control accounts.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, And SKILLS
- 5+ years required sales experience in Oncology (haematology is preferred)
- Advanced degree preferred (i.e. MBA, PhD, PharmD, etc.)
- 7+ years related healthcare experience in the industry/sales/sales management - diagnostics, medical device, or pharmaceuticals is strongly preferred
- Ability to inspire, influence, and lead without authority
- Experience in building and executing a sales call plan
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; fluency in other languages is a plus
- Excellent oral presentation skills
- Strong planning & organization skills with ability to prioritize
- Independent and self-driven with a positive work ethic
- Proven track record of teamwork, cross-functional collaboration, and leadership
- Results oriented with high sense of urgency and adherence to timelines
- Meticulous and strong analytical skills
