We are seeking a dynamic and strategic **Key Account Manager**to drive WD-40 sales and distribution growth across key channels in Singapore. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with the Company's key distributors and strategic retail partners in Singapore. This role is crucial in driving sales growth, expanding market share, and ensuring the effective execution of online and offline marketing initiatives.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Distribution Management**:Oversee and optimize product distribution channels within assigned key accounts to ensure optimal product availability and visibility.
Monitor inventory levels and sales out data to proactively identify and address potential stock-outs or overstocks.
Collaborate with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure efficient and timely product delivery to key accounts.
Identify opportunities for new product placements and expanded distribution within existing accounts.
- **Key Account Liaison & Sales/Promotions**:Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key decision-makers at various levels within assigned accounts.
Negotiate sales agreements, trade terms, and promotional plans to achieve sales targets and maximize profitability.
Develop and present compelling sales pitches and product presentations to key accounts.
Plan, execute, and evaluate in-store promotions, merchandising initiatives, and other sales-driving activities in collaboration with key accounts.
Regularly analyze sales performance, identify trends, and develop strategies to address challenges and capitalize on opportunities.
Act as the primary point of contact for all account-related inquiries, issues, and requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- **Marketing Plans & Execution**:Prepare yearly marketing plans that are aligned with the global strategies and adapt locally for excution.
Present and secure buy-in from key accounts for marketing initiatives, new product launches, and promotional campaigns.
Ensure effective execution of marketing activities within assigned accounts, including point-of-sale materials, planograms, and digital campaigns.
Gather market intelligence, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform future marketing strategies.
- **Reporting & Analysis**:Prepare and submit monthly sales & marketing reports, sales orders and forecasts.
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, profitability, and promotional effectiveness.
Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and inform strategic decision-making.
Develop and present business reviews to key accounts, highlighting performance, achievements, and future plans.
Manage and maintain accurate customer records and sales forecasts.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in key account management, sales, or business development, preferably in the hardware industry.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key customer relationships.
- Strong understanding of distribution channels, retail operations, and trade marketing.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented with a strong customer focus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required within Singapore.
