Role overview
This exciting role reports into the Senior Business Development Manager, South East Asia Lead. Your primary responsibility will be to generate new business within the Vietnam market, spanning various industries such as Fashion, Beauty, Retail, Interior Design, Hospitality, Food & Drink, FMCG, Sports & Outdoor, and Consumer Tech. You will be working closely with both SMEs and large enterprises to identify their needs and demonstrate how WGSN can benefit their business.
Working collaboratively, you will be expected to set up a mix of self-generated opportunities and those from inbound leads. You will be required to nurture opportunities by holding great discovery conversations with key stakeholders and delivering outstanding presentations.

The team
As a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM), you’ll join our team located in Singapore. In this role, you will have the opportunity to take ownership of your markets while driving growth and forging strong prospect relationships. You will have a proven track record in business development, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team. Key accountabilities
Developing and growing new business opportunities in the Vietnamese market
Selling the WGSN suite of solutions to new clients
Forecasting business accurately on monthly and quarterly outlook
Key responsibilities include following up inbound leads, proactive approach to lead generation through research, social selling, networking, discovery calls and working closely with the marketing team and rest of the sales team to develop strategies to recruit new Enterprise level business prospects in your markets
Arranging & attending meetings with prospects, making C-Level presentations including demonstration of the subscription site; drafting proposals and contract documents and consistent networking within the industry
