The General Manager, Commercial, ASEAN is responsible to grow the business influencing the ASEAN team (Singapore, Malayasia, Thailand, Indonesia and Vietnam) as well as diverse stakeholders, and is part of the commercial management team located in Singapore. This position reports to the Cytiva Vice President, APAC and is part of the Global Bioprocess Commercial Organization and is in Singapore and will be an on-site role. What you will do: Strategic Initiative Leadership: Ensure Cytiva’s mid- to long-term growth initiatives are clearly defined, prioritized, and executed with discipline. Work closely with cross-functional teams to turn strategy into actionable plans. Track execution rigorously, drive alignment, and remove roadblocks to ensure impact. Cross-Functional & Global Collaboration: Act as a strategic connector across Cytiva ASEAN, APAC, and global teams. Partner with in-country leaders and global counterparts to align strategic priorities and operational plans. Balance long-term growth ambitions with disciplined execution to meet business targets. Commercial Performance Partnership: Focus on the achievement of Cytiva ASEAN’s commercial and financial objectives managing full P&L of Cytiva ASEAN, play a key role in driving business performance by influencing decisions, optimizing operations, and ensuring strategic execution across teams. Customer & Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong, trust-based relationships with key decision-makers at strategic customer accounts. Proactively seek opportunities for collaboration by understanding evolving customer needs and tailoring Cytiva’s value propositions accordingly. Foster long-term, mutually profitable partnerships that reinforce Cytiva’s position as a strategic partner and contribute to sustainable business growth. Growth Investments & Business Development: Collaborate with the diverse internal/ external stakeholders to identify and evaluate strategic investment opportunities that support Cytiva’s growth in ASEAN. Lead high-impact initiatives—such as infrastructure, partnerships, or new capabilities—from business case development through execution, ensuring alignment with long-term strategy and delivering measurable returns. Team Leadership & Culture : Partner with divisional/ functional leaders to instill a high-performing, purpose-driven culture built on trust, transparency, and accountability. Leverage the Danaher Business System (DBS) to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and a problem-solving mindset across the organization. Support the development and retention of top talent by fostering collaboration, coaching future leaders, and embedding a culture of learning and performance. Who you are: You bring 15+ years of senior leadership experience in biopharma, life sciences, or a related ecosystem interacting/ influencing customers in C-level. If from another industry, you have a proven ability to quickly learn and deliver results in new environments. You have successfully managed a P&L and are experienced in driving strong commercial execution to meet and exceed business targets. You have a good understanding of finance and accounting principles. This includes the ability to build investment cases, understand financial statements, and make informed financial decisions. You have intensive experience with budgeting and forecasting. You have a strategic growth mindset and a proven track record in identifying, evaluating, and executing growth opportunities. You have hands‑on experience in project management and leading cross‑functional initiatives from planning through execution. You have a foundational understanding of life sciences or biopharma technologies—or the ability to learn quickly and engage meaningfully in technical discussions. You are an inspirational leader who builds high-performing teams and nurtures a culture of accountability, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
