This role significantly contributes to the achievement of university mobility Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for undergraduate students by facilitating overseas immersion opportunities during their course of study at Nanyang Technological University (NTU). The position aims to provide 2,600 students with semester exchange opportunities by the class of 2031.
Key Responsibilities:- To deliver impactful student advisory services to NTU students, maximizing their chances of participating in the semester exchange program and supporting the Office of Global Education & Mobility (OGEM)'s mobility targets.
- To ensure smooth operational procedures covering all aspects of pre- and post-exchange activities, guaranteeing NTU students' successful participation in their exchange programs.
- Provide individualized advisory support to potential and current outbound NTU students through one-on-one clinic sessions, briefings, and host university-matching services.
- Plan and execute engaging student activities such as informational talks, partner talks, and clinic sessions to educate NTU students about the semester exchange program.
- Co-conceptualize and assist in event planning for department-wide events like the Global Education & Mobility (GEM) Fair, which serves as a platform to connect partners, inbound students, and NTU students, promoting OGEM's mobility programs that contribute to achieving KPIs.
- Support the maintenance of close monitoring and engagement for the GEM Ambassador Program.
- Contribute to idea generation and be responsible for procurement of marketing materials to promote the GEM Explorer and GEM Ambassador programs to NTU students.
- Respond to student inquiries related to semester exchange through daily monitoring of emails via the GEM Explorer role-based account.
- Oversee semester exchange destinations across regions such as Oceania, Europe, and Asia, ensuring timely processing of pre- and post-exchange activities like nomination, application, visa application assistance, and transcript collation.
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of work experience, preferably in student services.
- Excellent communication skills and presentation abilities.
- Strong planning, time management, and attention to detail.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with process-driven systems.
- Good work attitude and willingness to learn.
- Service-oriented mindset.
