Our client offers continuing education and training programmes to middle and senior executives. The candidate will work closely with the Reporting Officer to grow the University's Executive Education suite of programmes and enrolments. The candidate will need to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that programmes remain relevant to the industry and clients’ needs, while also ensuring high enrolment rates. This will directly support the University’s key goal of growing the Continuing Education segment and making an impact in the industry. Additionally, the candidate will provide leadership and direction in the formulation and execution of business development strategies to support the strategic direction of the University's Executive Education.
Responsibilities:
Business Development
Develop a multi-channeled marketing strategy including growth and sustainability plans.
Research and strategise around industry plans to implement into the University's Executive Education programmes.
Proactively engage corporations to understand their business and training development needs.
Develop proposals for clients to meet their training requirements.
Source and cultivate productive relationships with senior leaders, including C-Suite executives.
Finance Initiatives
Ensure that programmes launched are financially sustainable.
Work with managers on drafting budgets for clients.
Responsible for the P&L budget for Executive Education programmes.
Ensure accurate accounting for all programme fees and timely processing of invoices.
Work with Finance business partners to resolve issues related to accounting and reporting.
Maintain contact with clients/participants to ensure high levels of satisfaction.
Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of programmes.
Understand various funding schemes and apply accordingly.
Engage with clients at different levels to maintain high service standards.
Build relationships with internal teams, external agencies, and marketing partners.
Operations
Engage with the University's Executive Education Operations team to meet deliverables related to customer experience.
Understand the Skillsfuture funding framework to develop compliant programmes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
Minimum 8 years of experience; experience in an academic environment is advantageous.
Familiarity with the adult learning environment is necessary.
Preferred candidates will have experience in business consultancies or organizations providing L&D/Executive Development.
Proficient in general software applications.
Ability to interact with people of varying levels, including senior executives and faculty.
Strong multitasking skills and attention to detail.
A pleasant disposition and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Good team player and able to work independently.
Analytical and thorough in thought-process.
