Responsibilities: Reports to the Banquet Operations Manager on the day to day operation. To plan the duty roster, engage part-timers and ensure that they are deployed according to function needs. To ensure all employees (including part-time employees) are well groomed and trained according to established standards and to conduct on-the-job training for all new employees. To be responsible to lead the employees (including part-time employees) in providing excellent service to all guests during all banquet functions and outside catering according to SOP standards and club’s policies and procedures. To ensure that function rooms are fully set-up according to the event order. To provide Feedback / Recommendations / Suggestions on improvement of staff schedule, attendance, timeliness, complaints and innovations to Manager. To co-ordinate with Chef, Stewarding and AV Technician on menus, function set-up arrangement, service procedure and clearing of all equipment before and after functions. To work hand-in-hand with the Catering Team to achieve their monthly sales budget. To achieve a high level of service quality which meets the demands and expectations of all members Prepare Function Report every after event. In charge on the procedure, follow up and maintaining HACCP policies for Banquet. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years with progressive supervisory positions in comparable operations. Certificate from a recognized Hotel Training School (or Culinary Institution) or an appropriate amount of progressive work experience to waive academic qualifications. Basic cocktails, wines, spirit and specialty coffee knowledge an advantage Experience operating Point of Sales System an advantage Keen to learn and grow in the Food & Beverage industry Able to work on rotating shifts, weekends and Public Holidays #J-18808-Ljbffr
