Banquet Event Details

The Banquet Attendant will be responsible for the setup and serving of banquets, working closely with the events team to ensure a seamless experience for guests. Essential duties include setting up equipment, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and adhering to departmental policies and procedures.

  • Set up and maintain equipment according to the Banquet Event Order.
  • Provide exceptional food and beverage service to guests.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of Banquet areas and equipment.
  • Maintain complete knowledge and comply with all departmental policies and procedures.
  • Requisition linens and skirting as required.
  • Ensure knowledge and compliance with 'OneMBS' F&B Standards.
  • Prepare mise en place and maintain a thorough understanding of POS machine, EDC, and manual system procedures.
  • Attend monthly departmental meetings and conduct thorough briefings to casual labor assigned.
  • Complete pre-function side work, including checking quality and amount of all stock and supplies.
  • Assist with other functions as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Proficient in written and verbal English.
  • F&B knowledge and safety.
  • Well-groomed and professional appearance.
  • Willingness and ability to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Preparation for monthly stock and inventory as assigned by manager.
  • Ensure cleanliness of operating pantries.
