Job Title: Human Resources Specialist ">
- Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for managing the entire foreign worker lifecycle, from recruitment to departure.
- Key Responsibilities: Assist in foreign worker management pertaining to payroll administration, work permit renewal and cancellation, workers' home leave administration and other areas of support; process accurate payroll for foreign workers; timely renewal and cancellation of work permits for foreign workers; provide effective support in foreign worker management; coordinate with site staff on workers' work permit matters; follow up on home leave application of foreign workers and seek necessary approvals; purchase air tickets for workers; maintain and update workers records in HRMS, HR folder and personal files; handle on-boarding of foreign workers including offer letter preparation and conduct orientation training; carry out prompt update of staff and worker daily movement report; perform monthly payroll computation of foreign workers including normal pay, allowances, overtime pay, salary advances and deductions for workers; input data entry into payroll system and other records; check through and reconcile errors to ensure accuracy of working hours etc before payroll processing; prepare payroll and costing reports; disseminate cost charging information to respective projects; key in cost allocation in payroll system; handle back-charging of costs between entities; administer MYE application and related matters; assist in workers' sick leave and medical claims matters including verification of bills follow up with hospitals on charges etc; follow up promptly on government application of foreign worker levy waiver; carry out periodic checking of workers' passport expiry dates; follow up on foreign worker performance appraisals and update accordingly; handle worker dormitory matters; follow up on manpower request from project sites through paperwork follow up manpower requisition form; handle subcontractor billing and back-charging of costs such as workers' uniforms; handle foreign worker and sub-contractor queries in a timely and effective manner; perform other duties as assigned.
- Requirements: The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and basic computer literacy. Experience in human resources or a related field is highly desirable.
