
Overseas Senior Human Resources Director

The Overseas Senior Human Resources Director is responsible for leading and managing HR strategy, operations, and compliance across all company entities outside of China. Reporting directly to the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) , this senior leadership role will partner with regional and country leaders to ensure alignment of HR initiatives with global business goals while addressing country-specific legal, cultural, and workforce challenges.
Key Responsibilities: 1. Global HR Strategy Execution- Implement global HR strategy across overseas operations in close collaboration with the CHRO.
- Act as the strategic HR partner for senior leaders in the USA, Brazil, Turkey, India, Vietnam, Taiwan, and other countries.
- Balance centralized global HR direction with local adaptation for cultural and legal compliance.
- Lead regional talent acquisition, onboarding, leadership development, and succession planning programs.
- Ensure high-potential development pipelines are in place across all key overseas locations.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in local and regional contexts.
- Drive consistent performance management practices across all overseas entities.
- Promote global values while fostering locally relevant engagement and recognition strategies.
- Act as a cultural ambassador between HQ and local markets.
- Oversee HR policy adherence in compliance with national labor laws in each market:。
- Partner with legal and local HR to manage employee relations, audits, and dispute resolution.
- Design and manage compensation structures, benefits programs, and incentives across countries, aligned with local benchmarks and global equity policies.
- Oversee annual merit reviews, incentive plans, and benefits renewal cycles for each region.
- Ensure efficient and compliant HR operations across all regions, including payroll, HRIS administration, onboarding, and exits.
- Provide workforce data and reports to the CHRO and executive team, using HR analytics for strategic decision-making.
- Lead and mentor a team of international HR professionals and country HR heads.
- Drive HR functional excellence through shared services or regional HR centers of excellence (CoEs).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, International Business, or related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred)
- 10–15+ years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior global HR leadership role
- Experience managing HR in multiple international locations , including the USA, Brazil, Turkey, India, Vietnam, and Taiwan
- Strong working knowledge of international labor regulations and HR best practices
- Global HR certification (SHRM-SCP, SPHR, GPHR, CIPD) strongly preferred
- Strong global and cultural agility
- Executive-level communication and advisory skills
- Strategic HR leadership with operational execution ability
- Change management and organizational design expertise
- High integrity, discretion, and professionalism
- Willingness to travel internationally
