Recruitment & Workforce Planning Develop and implement manpower plans to support production and business needs. Manage recruitment for engineers, technicians, operators, and support staff. Build partnerships with technical institutes, trade schools, and recruitment agencies. Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation programs. Industrial Relations & Labor Management Manage employee relations and maintain strong communication with unions and worker representatives (if applicable). Ensure compliance with labor laws, union agreements, and government regulations. Handle disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution. Training & Development Identify training needs for skilled and unskilled workers. Implement technical, safety, and soft-skill training programs. Develop career progression paths and succession planning. Performance Management Oversee performance appraisal systems and link them with rewards and productivity. Work with department heads to set KPIs and monitor employee performance. Recommend promotions, transfers, or corrective actions. Compensation & Benefits Develop fair wage structures aligned with industry standards. Manage payroll, overtime, and shift allowance policies. Oversee employee benefits such as insurance, medical coverage, and retirement schemes. Health, Safety & Compliance Collaborate with HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) teams to ensure compliance with workplace safety standards. Conduct regular safety audits and promote a culture of safe work practices. Ensure compliance with Ministry of Manpower (MOM) and relevant authorities. Employee Engagement & Culture Foster positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives. Organize employee welfare programs, team-building, and recognition activities. Encourage continuous improvement and worker participation. HR Policy & Administration Develop and update HR policies in line with organizational needs and legal requirements.
