We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as aRelationship Manager.
The role is responsible for leading, acquiring and growing profitable long-term relationships with ultra-high net worth Private Banking clients, establishing a holistic understanding of clients' needs, and providing full-service banking and all transactions for the ultra-high net worth clients through the marketing of all appropriate company services. Additionally, this role will deliver innovative high value solutions across all product lines, gaining significant business and sustainable returns for the wider Group and provide leadership to teams to support and deliver ultra-high net worth client performance against plan.
This job will carry out some or all of the following tasks:
Drive achievement against targets for net new money, revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment.
Perform as a Global Relationship Manager role for ultra-high net worth relationships to drive international connectivity with other booking centres to serve the needs of these ultra-high net worth families globally.
Grow HSBC's share of ultra-high net worth client wallet involving investment and product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements.
Keep abreast of market intelligence and provide regular contribution to identify areas of improvement for Global Private Banking to meet ultra-high net worth client's needs.
Establish new ultra-high net worth relationships and manage existing ultra-high net worth relationships in order to generate new assets under management and revenue, including with Next Generations from ultra-high net worth families.
Understand and ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business in which the job holder is involved.
Provide full-service banking and all transactions to ultra-high net worth individual clients/family offices through the marketing of all appropriate private banking offerings and services.
Able to partner with ultra-high net worth Solutions, Global Solutions Group, and other Lines of Business to offer a holistic "one-bank" approach to serve our ultra-high net worth/family office clients.
Identify business opportunities beyond traditional private banking offerings, and drive bespoke investment and structured lending solutions to serve client's business, personal wealth and family needs.
Adhere to a strong risk mindset with balanced risk taking, maximizing opportunities while minimizing unnecessary exposure to the bank.
Requirements
Extensive years of experience in relationship management within the banking sector.
Proven track record in asset gathering, asset growth and revenue generation, especially with the ultra segment.
Excellent commercial and negotiation skills.
Highly developed communication skills for use in direct client contact and problem solving.
Ability to provide strong financial and statistical analysis.
Attention to detail and the ability to think creatively to solve problems.
Excellent understanding of financial markets and products.
