We are looking for Senior Sales Managers for our client in Singapore Our Client is a leading technology events company, specializing in organizing and delivering world-class conferences, exhibitions, and networking events. Their mission is to connect industry professionals, innovators, and thought leaders, facilitating knowledge exchange and business growth within the technology sector. Position Overview: The Senior Sales Manager will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth by leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. This position requires a dynamic and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the technology industry and a proven track record in sales and business development, with a particular focus on expanding our presence in the Chinese market. Key Responsibilities: Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets for various technology events, with a specific focus on targeting exhibitors and sponsors from the Chinese market. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team, ensuring they meet or exceed sales targets. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, sponsors, and partners, particularly within the Chinese market, to secure long-term business opportunities. Market Research: Conduct market analysis to identify new sales opportunities, trends, and potential clients within the technology sector, with an emphasis on the Chinese market. Event Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and execute promotional strategies for events, ensuring maximum visibility and participation from Chinese exhibitors. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations with clients and sponsors, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that align with company objectives, with a focus on Chinese exhibitors. Sales Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis to senior management. Networking: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings, especially in China and the broader APAC region, to build the company's brand and expand its network. Innovation: Identify and suggest innovative ways to enhance the value proposition of the company’s events, tailored to the interests and needs of the Chinese market. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the technology or events industry. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. Strong understanding of the technology sector and its key players, particularly in China. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Fluency in Mandarin is highly desirable. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred Qualifications: Experience in selling sponsorships and exhibition space for technology events. Existing network of contacts within the technology industry in China. Experience in international sales and business development, particularly in the Chinese market.
