Job Description:

You have a background in product localization, and are process minded.
You are focused on great customer experiences, and how truly localized content is vital to successful businesses.
Key Responsibilities
5+ years
experience as Localization Project Manager, with 2+ years vendor management
experience a plus.
Work with key digital content teams on localization of content for the eCommerce experience on platforms.
An understanding of localization practices and a dedication for evangelizing these practices.
Excellent analytical, planning, execution and follow-up skills; and will coordinate with other Localization Project and Program Managers to create consistent processes and practices.
Lead localization projects from beginning to end, using our in-house translation management software (WorldServer) and translation memory tools.
Work with both internal and external specialist teams.
Act as point of contact for urgent localization requests coming out of the regional teams; and demonstrated success in managing multiple projects, priorities and vendors concurrently.
Lead and direct localization vendors, giving them clear and concise guidelines on eCommerce requirements.
Oversee Linguistic Quality Assurance (LQA) projects during engineering release cycles, campaigns, programs and new product introductions.
Work effectively with others in a constantly evolving environment and under time constrained launch schedules; and effectively lead difficult decisions and conflicting points of view.
Build reporting for localization functions within the digital content team.
Identify and communicate innovative ideas to improve processes and performance.
Have a working understanding of web technology tools such as XML, HTML, Photoshop, and varying digital asset types.
Localization budget management and vendor-side experience is a plus.
Education
BA/BS in Localization, Linguistics, Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience.
Previous website and/or e-commerce localization experience.
* Project Management qualification/certification a plus.
