Job Responsibilities:
Evaluate loan applicants by conducting in-depth credit assessments and analysing financial stability, repayment capacity, and overall creditworthiness.
Maintain a proactive approach to addressing credit risks and delinquencies by implementing suitable remedial actions when necessary.
Build strong relationships with SME clients, ensuring their inquiries, concerns, and requests are addressed effectively.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including credit analysts and legal staff, to ensure accurate and timely loan documentation and processing.
Develop tailored financial solutions by gaining a thorough understanding of clients' industries, market trends, and unique business needs.
Identify and source new lending opportunities within the SME segment through lead generation and prospecting activities.
Oversee a portfolio of SME loans, monitoring repayment behavior, compliance with agreements, and overall loan performance.
Guide clients through the loan application process, assisting with documentation preparation and ensuring a smooth approval and disbursement experience.
Requirements:
At least 1 year of experience in business development for SME Loans in a financial institution or broker.
Proven success in managing SME loan portfolios, achieving lending targets, and mitigating credit risks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish rapport with clients and stakeholders and negotiate effectively.
