Job Description

The End-User Computing Specialist designs, implements, and supports the end-user computing environment. This includes desktops, laptops, mobile devices, operating systems, applications, and virtual desktop solutions.

Our specialist ensures that end-users have secure, reliable, and efficient tools to perform their work effectively. They are responsible for deploying, configuring, and maintaining these systems.

  • Deploy and configure desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android).
  • Administer and support end-user platforms, including VDI, M365, Intune, SCCM, or other endpoint management tools.

Key Responsibilities

Some of our key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining Active Directory and Group Policy configurations for user access and compliance.
  • Managing endpoint security, including antivirus, encryption, and patch management.
  • Providing 2nd/3rd level escalation support for complex end-user issues.
  • Developing and enforcing standards, images, and policies for end-user devices.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • A diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in end-user computing or desktop engineering roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, Group Policy, and M365.
  • Hands-on experience with Intune, SCCM, or other endpoint management systems.
