Job Title: Business Development Manager – Sponsorship & Study Tour Location: Singapore Employment Type: Full-time About the Role: We are seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead efforts in securing sponsorships and organizing study tours for our flagship initiatives, including the Business and Philanthropy Forum. This role is critical in building partnerships, generating revenue, and creating immersive experiences for our global audience. Key Responsibilities: Sponsorship Development: • Identify, approach, and secure sponsorship opportunities with corporations, philanthropic organizations, and other partners. • Develop customized sponsorship packages aligned with partner goals and organizational objectives. • Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, ensuring mutual value and long-term collaboration. • Work closely with the marketing and event teams to deliver on sponsorship commitments, including branding, visibility, and event integration. Study Tour Coordination: • Design and manage exclusive study tours that offer unique learning experiences for participants. • Identify and establish partnerships with organizations, institutions, and experts to deliver high-value content for study tours. • Oversee end-to-end logistics, including itinerary planning, travel arrangements, and participant engagement. • Develop promotional materials and campaigns to attract participants for study tours. Strategic Planning & Execution: • Set revenue targets and develop strategies to achieve sponsorship and study tour goals. • Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential collaborators. • Monitor budgets and ensure profitability for all initiatives. • Provide regular progress reports and insights to senior leadership. Requirements: Qualifications & Experience: • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. • 5+ years of experience in business development, sponsorship sales, or event management. • Proven track record of securing high-value sponsorships and partnerships. • Experience in organizing and managing professional tours or similar programs is a plus. Skills & Competencies: • Exceptional negotiation and relationship-building skills. • Strong organizational and project management abilities. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative sponsorship solutions. • Proficiency in using CRM tools and other business development software. • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global environment.
