Job Title: Scientific Instrument Service Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Engineer to join our team in providing exceptional customer service and technical support for scientific analytical instruments.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing scientific equipment, with experience in installation, commissioning, calibration and maintenance. They will be responsible for liaising with customers, building strong relationships and identifying opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Install, commission, calibrate and maintain scientific analytical instruments at customer sites.
- Liaise with customers to address service concerns and provide effective technical solutions.
- Bulid and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure quality service support.
- Identify opportunities for new preventive maintenance contracts.
- Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to support service requirements.
- Provide technical training to end-users and distributors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
- 2–4 years' experience in servicing scientific analytical instruments.
- Knowledge of Particle Size Analyzer, X-ray Fluorescence, Spectroscopy, or ICP Spectrometer is an advantage.
