Manulife Singapore is looking for a self-motivated Manager, Strategic Development (Bancassurance) who is obsessed with delivering value, is forward-thinking, and a strategic-minded professional with a passion for data-driven decision-making to support the Bancassurance strategic team.

We are looking for someone with:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, business administration, finance or actuarial science or a similar field.
Proven experience in strategic planning, market analysis, and data-driven decision-making, preferably within the Bancassurance, insurance, or financial institution space.
Proficiency in using data visualization tools and software such as Power BI, Python, SQL, or similar software to interpret and present data in an effective story-telling manner.
Strong financial acumen and ability to analyze complex financial data to derive insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
Ability to present data insights at senior business meetings to achieve business objectives.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement.
Experience in insurance, banking, and financial services companies is preferred.

Develop and recommend strategic plans supported by data insights that align with the company's long-term goals and objectives.
Conduct market analysis and analyse industry trends, opportunities, and potential risks to fine-tune business strategies, drive innovation, and maintain a competitive edge.
Support respective business leads with proactive and timely analysis to drive performance.
Utilize data-driven insights to guide decision-making processes and enhance overall financial performance.
Provide valuable insights into business planning, budgeting, and financial analysis to support informed strategic decision-making.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of strategic initiatives.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to senior management.
Craft compelling presentation decks for management reporting and bancassurance partner business discussions.
