Join to apply for the Manager, Pre-Sales role at Keppel Data Centres 4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Description As a Pre-Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing pre-sales solutions by coordinating closely with the Technical Solutions, Commercial, Operations, and Project Management teams. You are expected to develop a clear understanding and knowledge of the customer’s technical requirements. You will work with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the Pre-Sales Solution is completed with a viable technical solution that aligns with customer requirements and budget proposals within a mutually agreed timeline. You will foster strong relationships with customers, support the development of Pre-Sales Solutions with the Technical Solutions team, and act as a technical liaison for selected customers. You will oversee the project from initiation to completion. After project handover, you may be required to support the Operations team on technical matters and travel as needed. Responsibilities Familiarity with the design and construction of Data Centres, including all technical disciplines and customer requirements. Serve as the subject matter expert on the technical requirements of assigned customers and advise the design manager during development stages. Execute technical qualification, planning, and development of solutions for prospective deals, managing and generating pre-sales solutions as directed. Coordinate with various teams and stakeholders to develop viable Pre-Sales Solutions. Support the preparation and consolidation of RFPs and technical questionnaires within stipulated timeframes. Collaborate with Technical Solutions, Project Management, Network Engineering, and external vendors to support connectivity requirements. Develop and maintain pre-sales capacity, support team engagement, and strengthen relationships with customer engineering teams. Assist project teams with quotations and variation orders. Ensure customer fitout scope is completed per contract and specifications. Organize and conduct meetings with clients and stakeholders to address pre-sales matters. Provide pre-sales support throughout project phases with quick turnaround and follow-up. Participate in technical meetings and record minutes for follow-up. Collaborate with clients and operational teams on technical issues and project handovers. Perform other duties as directed by the Head of Department. Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. 6-10 years of experience in mechanical systems, BA control systems, fire protection, etc. Experience in data centre development, including due diligence, site evaluation, design, and testing of infrastructure for hyper-scale DCs. At least 3 years in project or design management with strong management skills. Knowledge of design standards like BICSI, TIA, Uptime Institute; ATD certification is a plus. Ability to effectively engage in pre-sale technical solutions with multi-disciplinary teams. Confident in customer interactions and leading meetings. Excellent communication skills in Mandarin and English. Strong problem-solving, interpersonal skills, resilience, and a drive for innovation.
