Job Title

The role of a Digital Collaboration Specialist is to support various activities related to SharePoint maintenance, technical support, and customization as part of the IT Shared Services team.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance-related activities for SharePoint, including site administration, patch management, and server configuration.
  • Technical support for SharePoint Online users, addressing incidents, Change Requests (CRs), and Service Requests (SRs).
  • Management of existing SharePoint farm, third-party tools, and software deployed.
  • Conducting periodic environment health assessments and ensuring system compliance with relevant IT security policies and standards.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to devise optimal ways to align SharePoint functionality with business goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, preferably with certification in SharePoint System Administration and/or SharePoint Development.
  • At least 5 years of experience as a SharePoint Developer and at least 10 years of combined experience as a SharePoint Administrator and Developer.
  • Strong understanding and hands-on experience with SharePoint services, farm topology, branding, design, and development platforms.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, web browsers, Windows and SQL Servers, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Teams and OneDrive settings, including access control, external sharing, and lifecycle management.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of Power Platform (Power Automate and Power Apps) for building workflows and forms in SharePoint and Teams.
  • Experience with custom application development, integrations, and automation using SharePoint.
  • ServiceNow certifications such as Certified System Administrator (CSA) or Certified Application Developer (CAD) are beneficial.

This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Operational excellence and technology innovation are key priorities for this position.
