Senior Assistant Manager, Shared Services HR

The Senior Assistant Manager plays a pivotal role in providing HR operational support to Schools/Colleges on faculty appointment, reappointment, promotion, tenure, and exit management processes. This individual will supervise a team of senior/executive officers to ensure the delivery of service level agreements and participate in process improvement projects.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise a team of HR Officers and oversee HR administration and advisory support for faculty matters related to appointment, reappointment, job changes, promotion, and exit management.
- Ensure data accuracy in updates of all entries in HRIS, including hire data, one-time payments, and concurrent appointment updates.
- Coordinate activities supporting university-level meetings on faculty appointment, reappointment, and promotion.
- Resolve tasks and enquiries in a timely manner according to service level agreements.
- Improve processes and procedures to maintain high standards of service quality, efficiency, and governance.
- Drive and/or participate in projects and process reviews.
- Cultivate good working relationships with stakeholders within the university.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field, such as Human Resources.
- Preferably 4 years of relevant experience in an administrative and/or HR environment with supervisory skills.
- Familiarity with Employment Act and Labour laws of Singapore.
- Ability to handle high volumes of administrative transactions.
- Strong writing skills are essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and PowerPDF.
- Working knowledge of Workday is advantageous.
This role is based at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), a leading research institution in Singapore.
