Manage the wok station and oversee daily stir-fry cooking operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create authentic Chinese dishes according to standard recipes.
  • Maintain proper heat control, seasoning, and consistency of dishes.
  • Develop daily menu items in collaboration with kitchen management.
  • Supervise kitchen assistants and junior cooks, assigning tasks and ensuring workflow efficiency.
  • Monitor quality of ingredients, manage food preparation, and ensure timely service delivery.
  • Sustain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Assist in inventory management, including ordering and controlling waste.

Key Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in Chinese cuisine, specializing in wok/frying station.
  • Familiarity with various Chinese cooking techniques (stir-frying, deep-frying, braising, steaming).
  • Ability to lead a kitchen team and train junior staff members.
  • Knowledge of kitchen safety, food hygiene, and operational standards.
