Desktop Support Team Lead

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused professional to lead our Desktop Support team in providing technical assistance and support for desktop systems, hardware, software, and network issues.

About the Role:

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the planning of deployment schedules for the team.
  • They will provide technical guidance and mentor junior team members.
  • Offer onsite IT technical support for end-user service problems, including identification, diagnosis, rectification, and escalation.
  • Support desktops, notebooks, printers, scanners, and hardware components.
  • Install, reinstall, troubleshoot, and reconfigure Microsoft Windows and Microsoft applications in Desktop PCs and Notebook PCs.
  • Address queries, escalations, problem determination, resolution, and MAC – move, add, and change tasks.
  • Resolve complex calls or tasks.
  • Prepare daily status reports for internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • A professional certificate, diploma, or advanced/graduate diploma in an IT-related field is required.
  • A good attitude with a willingness to learn and work in a team is essential.
  • Experience in leading EUC projects is an added advantage.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills.
  • Show excellent client-facing skills with a professional presence and communication skills.
