About the Role:

  • Assess children's physical development, mobility, strength, and coordination. \r
  • Develop and implement individualised treatment plans tailored to each child's specific needs, goals, and abilities. \r
  • Provide one-on-one therapy sessions focusing on improving physical function, mobility, strength, balance, and coordination. \r
  • Utilise evidence-based therapeutic techniques and exercises to engage children and promote their physical well-being. \r
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support and effective integration of therapy goals into daily activities. \r
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of each child's progress, modifying treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes. \r
  • Stay updated on current trends, techniques, and best practices in physiotherapy and special education.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A recognised degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution. \r
  • Valid registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore. \r
  • Previous experience working with children, especially those with developmental delays, disabilities, or special needs, in a one-to-one setting. \r
  • Strong knowledge of pediatric physiotherapy practices and interventions. \r
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to working with children and their families. \r
  • Ability to work independently and adapt treatment plans based on each child's progress and evolving needs. \r
  • A genuine passion for helping children improve their physical abilities and overall quality of life.
