Child Development Specialist

The Department of Child Development offers specialist diagnostic and intervention services to preschoolers with developmental, emotional, and/or behaviour needs.
Our team provides assessments for diagnosis of autism, intervention recommendations and educational placements. We offer evidence-based psychological interventions to manage mood, anxiety and behavioural issues, and work across disciplines to deliver transdisciplinary services.
We are seeking a skilled Child Development Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, psychologists, occupational therapists, speech language therapists, education therapists, nurses and social workers.
Job Requirements- A Master Degree in Psychology (Clinical/Educational) with practicum component is required.
- Eligibility for Singapore Psychological Society full membership and registration with the Singapore Register of Psychologists is necessary.
- Effective interpersonal skills, verbal communication skills, and good psychological report writing skills are essential.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, and in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
- Preferably, the candidate should have working experience with young children (i.e., toddlers and preschoolers) and/or with children with autism.
As a Child Development Specialist, you will have opportunities to be involved in research and service projects, and contribute to the development of our department.
