In this Role, you’ll get to: Performance Measurement: Establish and monitor KPIs to measure team and program effectiveness. Empower Your Team: Lead and mentor a high-performing team responsible for managing hotel partner relationships. Provide continuous feedback, coaching, and training to ensure they excel in their roles. Strategic Collaboration: Coordinate and communicate decision-making processes with all stakeholders, ensuring alignment across departments. Industry Ambassador: Represent Trip. Biz at industry events and conferences, fostering brand awareness and promoting our innovative hotel solutions. Data-Driven Decisions: Embrace data-driven decision making to guide the hotel strategy, channeling resources to what matters most. Collaborate with product and sales teams to quantify and prioritize opportunities to improve inventory and client offerings. Build Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate and manage strong relationships with hotel suppliers and platforms to secure the best possible deals for our clients, while fostering strong hotel performance and maintaining positive brand recognition within the industry. Proactively manage and resolve any potential relationship conflicts. Lead Hotel Procurement: Champion strategic hotel procurement projects for global clients, delivering cost savings and exceeding satisfaction expectations. This includes leveraging data-driven insights to optimize resource allocation and prioritize opportunities for hotel program improvement. Architect Hotel Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive hotel strategy, ensuring Trip. Biz boasts a best-in-class hotel inventory that caters to diverse client needs. What you'll Need to Succeed: Language proficiency in English; Any European minor languages or Asian languages will be a plus. Comfortable working in a multicultural environment and adapting to a start-up organization. Excellent interpersonal skills, including highly developed communication and presentation skills, strong cultural versatility, empathy, and high levels of integrity. Ability to work independently, work towards targets, and deliver success within a fast-paced environment. Deep understanding of the hotel industry, encompassing GDSs, Channel Managers, and negotiation strategies with major hotel chains. A thorough understanding of the TMC market and client needs in the travel/hospitality industry/Hotel groups. Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the geographical region and familiarity with various methods of contracting with suppliers. Proven ability to build up high performing, high achieving teams. At least 10 years of experience in the travel industry, with a proven track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
