Operations Director - Bugis Hotels

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Director to oversee the daily operations of multiple hotels within our portfolio in Bugis. The ideal candidate will ensure that each property operates smoothly, maintains high standards of service, and achieves financial goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple hotels within the cluster, ensuring seamless operation across all hotel functions.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction, analyzing performance data to drive improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements, maintaining a strong focus on quality and risk management.
  • Monitor and manage budgets, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded through effective cost control and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with department heads to drive business results, leveraging strengths and expertise to achieve collective success.
  • Lead and mentor hotel management teams, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to optimize hotel operations.
  • Coordinate with sales and marketing teams to drive occupancy and revenue, developing strategic plans to meet business objectives.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints in a timely and professional manner, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
  • Conduct regular site visits to ensure high standards are maintained across all properties, driving consistency and quality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in hotel operations management, preferably within a cluster or multi-property role, with a strong track record of success.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in hotel operations management, with a deep understanding of hotel operations, finance, and human resources.
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with excellent academic credentials.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, guests, and external partners.
  • Ability to make strategic decisions and manage multiple priorities under pressure, remaining calm and composed in fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and regulatory requirements in the hospitality industry, with a strong commitment to compliance and quality.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a proven ability to analyze complex data and drive meaningful insights.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in mentoring and developing high-performing teams.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality guest service, with a passion for exceeding expectations and driving customer loyalty.
