Sr. Pricing Analyst

As a Sr. Pricing Analyst at On Location, you will utilize your expertise in ticket marketplaces, historical ticket demand, and consumer buying patterns to optimize yield. Your role involves closely monitoring ticket demand and market changes to develop effective pricing strategies that give On Location a competitive edge. Working under the guidance of the Director of Ticketing, you will manage daily pricing activities for various events, ensuring timely and revenue-maximizing strategies are implemented. By analyzing trends in live events, venues, and marketplaces, you will contribute to revenue forecasts and inventory management using both in-house and third-party tools. Collaboration with other departments is essential to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy, with a focus on continuous improvement. Attending meetings and participating in post-event reviews will be part of your routine, along with maintaining a positive and proactive attitude in all tasks.To excel in this role, you should hold a degree in Sports Management, Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related field. Previous experience with Point of Sale systems like Tradedesk, AXS, Frontgate, and Tickets Today is advantageous. Your ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, work with large datasets, and make data-driven decisions is crucial. Ideally, you have a background in revenue management within ticketing or commodities, with knowledge of the event ticket industry considered a plus. Proficiency in tools such as Quicksight for data visualization and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are preferred.Furthermore, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong analytical abilities, and a collaborative mindset are highly valued. Building relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effective communication, and logical decision-making are key attributes for success in this role. A driven and entrepreneurial spirit, along with a willingness to take calculated risks, will set you apart. Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and holidays during peak event times, is required.
