Job Title:
Restaurant Team Leader
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Team Leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of staff in providing excellent customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of the restaurant.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent leadership and communication skills. They will be able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities:
  • Assisting the Restaurant Manager in implementing and developing training programs.
  • Taking and scheduling reservations, greeting and coordinating the seating of guests.
  • Recognising regular guests and highlighting their preferences to the Restaurant Manager.
  • Promoting the restaurant by establishing a loyal and regular customer base, maintaining a database, and personalising customer service.
  • Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, maintenance of furnishings and equipment, and proper setup of the restaurant and connected areas or pantries.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks and priorities, and maintain a high level of professionalism.
